Weller Flemish Magnolia Vase

This 7"x7" Weller Flemish Vase, in what I believe is called the Magnolia line, is a fabulous example of middle-period Weller pottery at its finest! Dating from 1915-1928, this handsome vase features soft shades of green leaves and brown branches on a muted green and brown background. Crisply molded Magnolia blossoms in a soft shade of pink catch your eye. Condition is excellent. I believe this vase to be rather rare as I had a great deal of difficulty finding it for reseach. There is no mark on the bottom. An outstanding addition to your American Art Pottery collection!

This piece was purchased by Grandma in her early years of marrage along with 2 other Weller pieces including a bud vase from the forest collection and a beautiful large console with flower frog in soft mat mauve and green shades.

The thing's just beautiful - actually "beautiful" by itself is even an under-rated word to describe it. What surprises me is your selling it off - unless you have an even better one. And I really appreciate your effort in the communication and coordination, the immaculate packing and your note that you included as well.
Thanks so much for everything. (blue Butterfly Plate)
